Creativity is a choice, not talent. Every child has the potential to be creative. In
developmental theory, John Locke states that any child born as a new,
likened to a sheet of white paper, how it later, depending on what is
written on it.Thus, the potential to be a creative child who did not distinguish it male or female. Although
we often hear the stereotype that distinguishes them, as boys are more
interested in things that are physical or mechanical, whereas girls are
more interested in the imaginative, domestic or related to parenting.Since
the development of the sensory motor stage, the child may be directed
to explore the surrounding environment that supports the development of
creativity in order to be optimized. One way to develop a child's creativity is through drawing and coloring. Through these activities, children will be free to express. Often we see a child draw with a less obvious, such as the dots are called pictures of trees and tree coloring it red. That is called the imagination as part of creativity. We
do not need to limit children by emphasizing that the image of the tree
should be like, or the color of the real tree is green, because it can
actually inhibit the imagination and creativity of children. In
addition, through drawing and coloring, can also develop fine motor
skills, as well as children can learn to recognize colors. So,
in fact parents do not need to buy tools constructive expensive game to
optimize creativity children, simply by providing paper and colored
pencils. Encouragement
from parents through compliment indicating that the work produced by
the children appreciated, can support to further develop the skills of
creativity.So,
we need to know, graffiti and color scratches sometimes not so mean to
the parents, but in early childhood development it becomes very
meaningful.
